Host Rules – No Exceptions!

1) No PP on the show

That means no profanity or politics.   There could be lots of musicians whose families are listening, so let’s keep it G-rated.   As for politics, not here.   To express political opinions, feel free to call in to KKNT or Air America on weekdays.   Please don’t use this limited time to expound on your cause du jour in word or song.   This is about our love of music and what we have in common.   Make music, not politics.

2) Respect the clock.

Don’t plan on doing your rendition of “In A Gadda Da Vida” on the congas here in studio.  Whatever time you are given, that’s all we have.

Hint: Time your songs before coming down, and save enough time to do a plug for your CD, your website and your next gig.   Yes, that IS allowed!

3) Be prepared.

Make sure you are ready to play when you get here.  Remember, you have 2 songs to play, so make the most of them!  By the way, if your guitar string breaks (happens to all of us) see Rule #1.

4) Turn off your cell phone – enough said.
